Key Components of Our Safety Program
Our proactive approach to safety involves comprehensive planning, training, and on-site management.
Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
Before any fieldwork begins, our teams conduct a thorough JHA to identify potential risks specific to the site. This includes assessing terrain, traffic, site activity, and environmental factors. Mitigation strategies are then developed and communicated to all personnel.
Continuous Training
All field staff undergo regular training in First Aid/CPR, WHMIS, equipment operation, and site-specific safety orientations. We believe that a well-trained team is a safe team.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
We enforce a strict PPE policy. All team members are equipped with and required to use appropriate safety gear, including hard hats, high-visibility clothing, steel-toed boots, and any other specialized equipment required by the job site.
Incident Reporting & Investigation
We have a robust system for reporting all incidents and near-misses. Every report is thoroughly investigated to determine the root cause and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence, fostering a culture of learning and improvement.
